In November our Boxer, Serengeti, delivered 12 purebred Boxer puppies.
This was the last one of our puppies that sold out of our litter of 12.
We called her little Sidney because she looked just like her grandma.

Kolby bonded with this puppy only days after he was born.
This photo was taken only minutes before someone came to buy him.

After the people arrived and decided this was the puppy they wanted, Kolby broke down and begged me not to let them take "Max". He cried about Max for days and still tells me not to mention Max's name. I've never heard Kolby cry so hard. Me...well...I cried too, and Shaye, and Adrienn. This was the hardest to let go of by far.

A view of the mountains on a cold winter day up by pineview dam in the Ogden Canyon

We even saw some deer

This is the baby girl we chose to keep.

Here are all eleven puppies only about two weeks old

Biking with friends along the Ogden River Fall 2008

Our kitten "Gidget"

"What the" are you seriously sleeping in MY bed? Who do you think you are.

When kitty wants to share Geti's bed with her, they are the best of friends.

This fall we got to go on a field trip with the home school group to blacks farm.
In this picture Kolby and I went for a ride in a Cow barrel

Ever played in a "corn box"? Soooo fun!

My sister and very best friend in the whole world stopped in Utah
for a whole 40 hrs or something like that on her visit to the states.
No time for sleep. We had to make the most of this visit.

In August, the women from Canyon Road Assembly of God went on a three day retreat to Brighton ski resort. We biked....

ate chocolate, pampered ourselves with pedicures and manicures near the warm fire,

and went on long hikes

Just a few of us

This summer we also camped with our best friends Robert and Amanda and their children

The river kept the children entertained the entire time

I think Kolby's trying to look like he's not having fun

and Amanda. This woman never stopped to relax.
She cooked, cleaned dishes, and took care of everyone else
the entire time and never complained. I have so much
to learn from her. I love you girl!
